Los Angeles, August 9, 2011: Ron Goodman recently performed Aerial DP duties on major feature “World War Z” currently shooting in the UK. Assisted by Andrew Sych the SpaceCam team shot main, second unit and VFX imagery utilizing SpaceCam’s Arri Alexa system. The team will move next to Glasgow and then on to Budapest and finally to the New York region.
Prior to filming SpaceCam augmented its European EASA aviation approval to conform to new requirements. The result is that SpaceCam is fully approved to operate throughout the European Community. Currently the system used on “WWZ” is stationed in London and plans are underway to permanently base one or two units in Europe to meet ongoing demand.
